hey everyone,

is there a setting to change so I don't have to press "command p" for bold expression text? I never use the thinner font thats the default when entering expression text and it's a minor inconvenience to press for example "command m f" .Probably something easy that I'm just missing.

thanks ,

You are misunderstanding what Sibelius is doing. When you hold down [cmd] Sibelius uses the special music font to create the (correct) glyph for your dynamic marking.

If you look at the text tab you can see that difference in the Music font dropdown. If you select text without [cmd] it says "none" with [cmd] it says" music text."

Also, there are cases where you want expression text that is NOT bold italic (eg cresc./dim/sub etc)
