How to notate this?

Sibelius beginners can discuss all things Sibelius here ("how do I...?").

This is really easy to play but this notation just looks horrible
Here's what I am trying to write down:
Play C and then G, but dont let C go to form an interval, and then hold it for a while; Is there any way to make this look better? :(

That notation looks just fine and it's crystal clear what is to be played. I personally wouldn't change it.

The alternative would be to write the C as a crotchet in Voice 2 with a quaver rest and a quaver G above it in Voice 1. Both notes then tied to the C and G in the next bar. Exactly the same effect and perhaps 'neater', but is it really easier to read?

Oh, I only speak English describing note values! You may have to translate!
