Using Sibelius to show notation on a video

Postby emremusic » Wed May 09, 2018 2:50 pm

Hello Sibelius users,
Im a beginner Sibelius user, and I would like to show scrolling drum set notation on the bottom of a music video, for music instruction purposes.

Is there a video or a link explaining how I can add notation to a video?

Also, I haven't purchased Sibelius yet. Can you tell me which version is enough for my needs? Do I need the Ultimate version, or is the normal version enough to add notation to videos?

Thank you for your help!

I don't think that a video produced by Sibelius actually scrolls the score. Rather, the score is static and a green line shows what is being played. There is probably software or video tricks that will do this.

Before you buy, check comparisons on the Avid website. You might not need Ultimate, but it would be too bad if you found out later that you needed more fire power.
